I'll respond by email. I'm happy to engage with serious like minded woodworker types. But after years of dealing with people, I have very little patience for bottom feeders and time wasters who want something for nothing.
There are a lot of scammers working the internet, too. If you are a serious buyer, please demonstrate that by filling out the Inquiry Form in full.
I really prefer to deal with buyers who can come to my place and buy directly.
I don't like having to deal with weighing, strapping, crating and loading a box van. That's a lot of work which takes time, and some people think I will do that for free. Not sure why that is...
I do not provide shipping quotes!
Expecting me to provide a shipping quote will ensure that I won't get back to you.
It is the buyers job to arrange shipping, not mine.
I am not a machinery dealer - I'm just selling off a large collection.
I will describe the machines condition to you honestly, but it's best for you to
inspect the machine yourself, so you know what you are buying. Last thing I need is for somebody to be dissatisfied. Life is too short, and it's just an old machine...
HOW DO I BUY A MACHINE ?
You must pay in green cash dollars when you are picking it up.
If you're far away, and I have begrudgingly agreed to ship the machine to you,
l will send you an Invoice via Email, and you send me a check.
WHAT ABOUT LOADING MY TRUCK ?
I have forklifts and can safely side load your proper flatbed truck or flatbed trailer.
I reserve the right to turn away undersized or unsafe vehicles. Safety first!
WHAT IF I WANT TO USE A TRUCKING COMPANY ?
If you are too far away and can't pick the machine up -
You must arrange your own trucking - It's really not that hard!
There will be an additional charge to skid it up and get it ready, however.
My Shipping location is - Chambersburg, PA, 17201
I'll provide you with Dimensions, Weight, and Bed space requirements.
This is what a trucking company needs to quote the shipping.
When you've arranged shipping, have the carrier contact me to schedule the pickup.
Once it leaves my dock, any shipping problems will be on you, not me.
One of many brokers for LTL Flatbed and Van truckers.
AND DON'T FORGET -
Once a machine leaves our place, it's your responsibility. Thank you.
